I have been going to the honey bee for a few years now just on the occasional Sunday, the roasts have always been lovely with fresh vegetables that are well cooked and tasty and I really look forward to it, unfortunately tonight the food was awful, The parsnips were rock hard as were the roast potatoes. The Yorkshire was inedible, I couldn’t cut it with my knife or even try and tear apart, the cauliflower cheese was hard and tasteless, I don’t like having to complain, but unless someone says something then how can you change. Honestly, I was a bit disappointed with my experience at this restaurant. We ordered a starter to share at the table, but it never arrived. The main courses (Sunday Roast) came out, and when I asked about the starter, they checked and said it hadn't been put through. The roast potatoes were hard, clearly reheated and the skin had become so tough that they were inedible. I mentioned this when our plates were collected. Throughout our meal, no one came back to check if everything was okay or if we wanted more drinks. It was disappointing to see that the restaurant, which was quiet when we arrived, seemed to have lost its footing.

had more of a hotel restaurant ' as pub feel at the place the workers seemed uninterested never checked on us, between the food ingredients and when we left. I had the spiced kicherbsen aubergine and spinat burger, which was good (small,) but the 'roasted sweet and turkey salad' was replaced without explanation by fritten. I'd try something else if I ever come back.

The service was excellent as always, but the fried dinner was terrible. The fish and chips were overcooked and the potatoes were hard. This was not up to their usual standard and I was very disappointed. Overall, the food was tasteless.
Great service as usual, however the roast dinner was awful, hard parsnips and potatoes, not the usual standard, really disappointed, tasteless food all round.
Disappointing food , It was pretty good about four years ago but now seems to have fallen into the trap of preparing microwave food.
Beer is OK and a great
I was lucky enough to be whisked here on a Friday evening recentlyI'd never been out to this neck of the woods, and was very pleasantly surprised.

The waitress was lovely, helpful and friendly. The food was of a good standard£ and very enjoyable.
Went here for a leaving do, there were about 15 of us so we ordered ahead.
