I had an amazing cocktail last night at this restaurant! The menu offers a wide selection of drinks, including beer and cocktails. I liked that the cocktail menu had pictures of the glass so you could see what your drink would look like. I chose the spicy coconut lime colada, which had fantastic flavor with a spicy kick. It was unlike anything I've ever tried before, and I will definitely be ordering it again. My sister tried the Pele's Revenge and also loved it. The pork egg rolls were tasty, but the pork sliders were a bit dry. They were simply meat with a slice of pineapple on top, lacking slaw or sauce. They could have benefited from some sauce on the side to add moisture, but the flavor...
Terrible first visit! I ordered the shredded chicken sandwich. It was so dry and the bun was mushy. Ordered extra sauce and it took 20 min. The potato salad with Mac cheese had egg in it and I'm allergic! Was not indicated on the menu. Ordered Mac cheese as a replacement and it took 20 more minutes. Was like cheese soup with macaroni in it. Asked for another replacement and the waitress took me to talk to the manager. Thank goodness my meal was taken off the bill. Took the server 6 times to get our bill right??!! Why not use the Toast handheld devices and take care of it all at the table??? Unbelievable. The only good part was the live music and sangria.
I love the consistency with food and drink quality of this place. We come here at least twice a year because we live in Orlando. The Honu has a tiki bar as well which is outdoors. I think there's live music on the weekends. We usually get the stacker one with khalua pork and one with ahí tuna. It's simply delicious. Our drinks were the blue sangria and blue seltzer--very refreshing. This is one local establishment that strives for customer satisfaction. The owners are very attentive and friendly. Sarah was our server today and we remembered her from our last visit. She's very friendly. If you're visiting Dunedin stop by the Honu
Nice little place for food with a Hawaiian flair. Only complaint, no substitutions on any taco orders you either like it or don 't get it. I don 't like feta cheese, would have been so simple just to not add it. Profit margin would go up, more happy customers, fewer unhappy reviews Great tiki bar out back with entertainment

I've continued to come to Honu and Post-Covid times. All is well. Staff is always friendly, music has been good and the food is consistently delicious. Well done I'm glad they survived through the tough stretch!
I was thoroughly impressed by the quality of the food and service. We enjoyed sitting at the bar with our dog and will definitely be returning on our next trip.
The food was excellent and unique, the service was top-notch, and the atmosphere was really cool with live entertainment. I highly recommend this place.
Rude people work there. Have had the same rude experience several times and the last time was the final straw. Will not go back.

Great drinks and fun food. Service also great. Right downtown Dunedin so you can walk and parking is easy.
Fun Hawaiian vibe great food. Staff super friendly and love the drink. Got a pineapple daiquiri.
