Terrible first visit! I ordered the shredded chicken sandwich. It was so dry and the bun was mushy. Ordered extra sauce and it took 20 min. The potato salad with Mac cheese had egg in it and I'm allergic! Was not indicated on the menu. Ordered Mac cheese as a replacement and it took 20 more minutes. Was like cheese soup with macaroni in it. Asked for another replacement and the waitress took me to talk to the manager. Thank goodness my meal was taken off the bill. Took the server 6 times to get our bill right??!! Why not use the Toast handheld devices and take care of it all at the table??? Unbelievable. The only good part was the live music and sangria.
I love the consistency with food and drink quality of this place. We come here at least twice a year because we live in Orlando. The Honu has a tiki bar as well which is outdoors. I think there's live music on the weekends. We usually get the stacker one with khalua pork and one with ahí tuna. It's simply delicious. Our drinks were the blue sangria and blue seltzer--very refreshing. This is one local establishment that strives for customer satisfaction. The owners are very attentive and friendly. Sarah was our server today and we remembered her from our last visit. She's very friendly. If you're visiting Dunedin stop by the Honu
We decided to celebrate my mother's birthday at this restaurant based on a recommendation and after viewing the menu online. Unfortunately, when we arrived, we discovered that many of the vegan options listed online had been removed from the menu. There were only 2 dishes that could be made vegan, which was disappointing for us.
There are limited vegan options at this restaurant, which are clearly indicated on the menu. I tried the coconut soup and it was delicious! The restaurant also offers outdoor seating, a full bar, and attentive service.

They have a separate menu making it very easy to see all the menu items that are or can be made vegan. Many delicious vegan options. Great place for appetizers/drinks or full meal. It is a local favorite of mine!
I've continued to come to Honu and Post-Covid times. All is well. Staff is always friendly, music has been good and the food is consistently delicious. Well done I'm glad they survived through the tough stretch!
This place pleasantly surprised us with vegan and non-vegan options. The food was fantastic. I had some coconut bowl with sticky rice that was out of this world. Hubz had a delicious meal as well! YUM
We had a great time at Honu! This charming restaurant in Dunedin had a fun tiki atmosphere and delicious food. The drinks were fantastic and there was even complimentary seating available.

they have a separate vegetarian/veganes menu. connor our server was over fantastic. fun holiday drinks. was in the city for my birthday and they made a great job. atmosphere is so funny.
Fun Hawaiian vibe great food. Staff super friendly and love the drink. Got a pineapple daiquiri.
