We just left. Not only did they NOT get my order right, we didn’t get all of the food ordered. They gave us a “discount” for the inconvenience- but it honestly just covered the food we either didn’t get or that came out at the same time as the meal. Appetizer came out with the meal, salad didn’t come until I asked for it, and we were told “they are working on the rice” which we never even got. I paid $53 for 2 people for lunch WITH a “discount” and didn’t get our food and am leaving my lunch still hungry. I had a bland piece of chicken and exactly 4 asparagus. My family took me to dinner tonight for an early Mother’s Day dinner at the Hornet’s Nest. We arrived at 6:20 pm for our 6:30 reservation. After about 30 minutes we finally got our drink orders. No one took our dinner orders until at least 7:30 and our dinner finally arrived at our table about 8:30 although not complete nor correct. We did not get to pay our bill and leave until after 9 pm. I don’t know when I have ever had slower service than tonight! To top it all off, the food was mediocre at best. My chicken was over cooked and my sides were cold. I have been going to “the nest” for over 60 years and tonight was a huge disappointment!
Three people in my group ordered the Manhattan. The food was good, and the portion size offered great value. However, it wasn't very warm. We didn't feel it was worth sending back since we were all quite hungry. Other than that, everything was fine.
Great place for brunch. Exceptional service despite being busy. Solid good, good drinks, and a buzz with all the friendly folks enjoying a good time.

Waitress greeted us immediately. Friendly home atmosphere. The breaded tenderloin, mushrooms and strawberry tea was delicious ? love this place!!
Always good at the Nest. However, the patio is right by the street and intersection and very noisy. If you want it quieter, go inside.
The food was great, I can see why they stay busy. Great food, good atmosphere, friendly staff. Would definitely recomend stopping in.
This was our first visit and it was a nice surprise. Lots of home style cooking. I had the fried chicken and it was above average.

Good selection and portion sizes are big. Everything is hot and fresh and served in a timely manner.
The food and service were excellent and it was all reasonably priced. Will definitely go back.
