We are frequent customers at this restaurant, which is a charming local spot conveniently located near the tube station. It is definitely worth a visit if you find yourself in Hampstead. Many reviews mention the prices here, which I believe are reasonable for the area. While the food and drinks are not cheap, they are not overly expensive either. In the past, we have not eaten here often because the food was not very good and quite inconsistent. However, with the arrival of a new chef, the quality of the food has improved significantly. This pub and casual dining spot in Hampstead village is quite popular. Despite never dining there before, I have walked past it numerous times. Today, I decided to try their Sunday Roast. The service from our server was lackluster, with no effort to serve or open the bottle of water placed on our table. Our plates were priced at £21, with not much meat but tasty gravy. We do not plan on returning as we did not find it to be good value for money. There are definitely better options in Hampstead.

I would give this place 5 star, purely due to the very friendly staff who welcomed us into the premises and the person who served us that night we went last week. This place was dog friendly, which was a plus and where very accommodating. I had a beef roast which was delicious. And my friend had a Vegetarian dish, I can’t remember what it was called now, but hopefully the picture helps you identify it.

The pub has recently been taken over and renovated, creating a great atmosphere. The manager is friendly and they offer a good variety of beers. The food is also delicious. The only downside for me was being charged a service fee when ordering at the bar, which I found a bit greedy. I would have preferred table service, but overall I was a bit annoyed by this. Well, sweet potato and quinoa burger but it's Hampstead. I had the bangers and mash instead, properly done and good size serving. When I got there (early lunch), not very crowded but filled up fast so they're doing something right.

Located in a great area we pooped in for pints and food. The service was quick and the food was tasty. With outside seating great to soak up the rays whilst enjoying the many varieties of bar and selection of food.

Been visiting for a week, best meal I’ve had in London yet! Service was great, fun vibe, and the food was amazing! Booked Sunday roast dinner, can’t wait!!!
