This is a typical 'old ' pub. It is not trying to ve anything else and it was great. The food was good wholesome pub grub. No pretention. Huge portions and well cooked. The bar lady was great (I 'm not sure if she was the landlady). Fab sense of humour and really welcoming. We would thoroughly recommend this place.
I decided to check out this restaurant on a whim while waiting for a bus. The food was excellent - the sandwich was perfect and the chips were hot and delicious. They also had a great beer selection for a small pub.
Lovely landlord and lady, food is also a very high standard. Nice pub for a pint, some lunch and a game of pool or table tennis
Good meal but the table we sat at was in a dark corner even the children noticed, normally we have sat in the window much nicer Reserva una mesa ahora
Visited on a Saturday evening. It appears you have to be under the age of 18 to drink here, place was full of teenagers.
Lovely friendly and cosy pub. Great selection of meals and beer, all fairly priced. Easily my favourite pub in Shipston.
