Stayed for a few nights! Rooms are very luxurious! Everything you need from iron to hairdryer. Mini fridge which has alcohol, water and soft drinks. Breakfasts are perfect with amazing service. Evening meals were out of this world!! 5* Food, drinks and service! Good portion sizes! We didn't have the best weather but if you go and it's warm there is an outdoor kitchen so Food and drinks can be cooked and made outside. Very nice quiet village, didn't really explore it to much but no noise in the evenings at all! I was really looking forward to my stay here, but unfortunately after an awful experience, I cannot recommend The Houblon Arms for female travelers. The staff here have made it clear that unless you are white or accompanied by a male chaperone, you deserve to be harassed during your stay. The peaceful serenity of the English countryside was completely ruined by my experience staying at this hotel. Sadly I cannot recommend it to solo female travelers — please be advised to stay somewhere else.
