The Inn At Little Washington

As a local Virginians, Inn has been on our hit list for years. What a disappointing night it was. First of all, not to leave a 3 Michelin star restaurant full is a sin. Thanks for the unlimited bread service or I would have gone and had to stop somewhere for a subsequent meal. First is the food. Nothing is bad, but nothing is amazingly provided above the top in taste, visuals or quantity. Half of the dishes were gastronomic experience size. Except there are not enough courses for it. The rabbit shell was very dry. What was most disappointing was the service. At 3 Michelin stars you will find the best of the best. Our server, Katelyn, lacked finesse. The restaurant was one of my goals for a few years. Especially from friends we heard that not only the food was phenomenal, but the talented staff and restaurant environment was an experience. I testify to all 5 star reviews that I have given over the years other restaurants, I would probably all take them down to a 4 if I had to compare them to The Inn in Little Washington. My friends were absolutely right, that was an experience. Although very expensive, you really understand the hype now. It's more than the food. It is how the staff interacts with you along with a beautiful environment. Nothing fast, no rush, rest back, relax and enjoy the company you are using for this experience. Unders...

I was very skeptical about how good a 3 Michelin star restaurant could be and could it possibly be worth my 2 hour drive and the incredibly high prices. Well the restaurant was fabulous. Prie fixe menu but everything was prepared with perfect attention to detail and the food really was so much better. The wine pairings were also good. The rooms were very nice, but the bathrooms were small with no tub and just not quite at the same level of exquisite as the restaurant. The staff clearly bought into meeting their guests needs and we did not meet any staff who sincerely wanted to help in any way possible. Amazing place! Michelin 3 stars is always worth to try. And the price is great for a Michelin 3 stars restaurant! Every course is prefect. Plus the services are very nice to all the customers. Average is about 400+ per person but really worth to try! If they have guests room these couple days available I really like to try! They are always fully booked!

Wow, expensive yes, but worth every penny. I can't wait to go back one day. The best food I ever had. Best hot chocolate ever, best cocktails! The whole staff is amazing. It's a whole experience. There is also an amazing little bakery on the plot. Got a bag!
