I'd organised a reunion of old school chums involving a tour by vintage bus running around the Sidcup/Bexley/Bexleyheath/Dartford area where we lived in our youth. Needed to find a pub for a lunchtime stop, but with the ability to park the bus safely and securely. Googled pubs in Bexleyheath and, with the bus garage being round the corner to park the bus, The Jolly Millers seemed to fit the bill. Went in to enquire whether the pub served food on Monday lunchtimes, to find it was normally closed on a Monday. Visited this pub when it was first refurbished and was very impressed .Returned yesterday (7/5) and wasnt quite as impressed. The service at the bar was very slow ,one lady working tirelessly behind the bar with intermittent help from one or other of the male owners ,both of whom seemed overwhelmed at times.Being a warm Sunday afternoon the pub was quite busy. There didnt appear to be anyone collecting glasses and the ashtrays on the tall tables were overflowing ,one of the male owners used the ashtrays and still didnt empty them.The ashtray at the entrance of the pub was overflowing with butts and rubbish.Not a great welcome .The ladies toilet was ok but toilet and sink in need of a wipe ro...
We have visited this pub numerous times over many years recently it closed for a full refurbishment… came in today Sunday 12th a lovely family feeling clean and so much brighter than it previously was every thing and more we expected high quality furniture and decorating and lovely welcoming staff What more could we want on a Sunday Beautiful bar the only ‘issue” I would say is …. So much to choose from !! Come and see for yourself you won’t be disappointed! Garden the ladies has some “essentials” for free the furniture so comfortable and clean ! Although I've lived in Bexleyheath all my life, this was the first time I have ever been to The Jolly Miller and ,wow, it is somewhere that I will certainly return to! A friend had hired the complete pub for Christmas party, complete with Karaoke(! and although it is not the larges to of places, we all had such a great night! A big THANK YOU to the proprietor Hannah and her team who made us all so welcome. The drinks were reasonably priced and I noticed that they have live music, ets I will certainly return in the future. Make sure you do not miss this hidden treasure in Bexleyheath !!!

We visited the jolly millers for the first time since it has been under new management and they have done a brilliant job. We found it as 2 women so welcoming the decor is lovely and the staff are so friendly it is such a different place. They also gave us a little snack of olives and bombay mix with our drinks what a lovely touch. Will defo returning and telling friends and family to visit.
Great pub! Newly refurbished and has very welcoming owners. The pub has been redone and it is a millions times better than it was before. Good selection of beers, wines and spirits and at a nice price too. You even get some free snacks to enjoy at the table and BT sports being shown as well. Highly recommend if your in the area.
Was absolutely brilliant, lindsey was a great hostess and very polite.. Tony was a great chef and came out to introduce himself.. Nice guy. Food was brilliant and great atmosphere in a hidden area of the pub. Can no fault it one bit.. Perfect Thursday night dinner!
Amazing fresh clean refurbished pub we will return new owners have turned this pub around no longer dark and tatty, bright and fresh with plans for live music and more thank you all for your hard work in brining this local back to life

Met friends early on a Saturday evening fo drinks. Place was empty. Unfortunately, the lack of Cider was concerning only one choice! Beer: again only one on tap! Won’t be returning to this pub in a hurry.
This place has had a full refurb is under new management. They’ve done a great job sprucing it up it now feels light and airy and a great place for a drink. Nice beer garden that will be great for summer.
