My husband and I were celebrating our anniversary last evening. We were sat in a booth near the back wall, which was very private, we both enjoyed that very much. We were lucky enough to have Claudia as our server. She is very friendly and answered all the questions I had about the menu. She has fantastic eye contact when talking to her customers, makes you feel very at ease. She is a fabulous server. I tried the blue cheese filet for the first time. It was so delicious, I finished the entire thing. I will definitely be back again for that specifically. Our only negative comment, is about the beer selection on tap, my husband would prefer more/better options i.e. blue, ipa, sleeman, rolling...
I love going to the Keg. It was my first time at the Guelph location, but the ambiance was the same everywhere else and the service was amazing. We ordered the iceberg wedge salad, the escargot with bread, the baseball top sirloin and the steak and lobster with the twice baked potato and vegetables. The broccoli was burnt, but the lady brought us more. I wasn't happy about the broccoli because it was still burnt, but I was there for the steak anyway. Everything else we got
Rebecca was an excellent server, she always kept checking on us, our waters never emptied and she was super attentive through the night. It was a great experience and I went with my girlfriend here and no complications, the food was top of the line, the service was exemplary and I look forward to coming back here. About two weeks ago I came to the keg with 26 people to celebrate the night before my wedding. From the moment we walked in the hosts made us feel so welcomed. The host Aline, even offered to take group photos of us. Our servers James, Sydney and Rachel did an amazing job at helping all of us have a great night. They always checked up on us and made sure we were well taken care of. I would highly recommend this keg as the service and atmosphere is just incredible.
Great atmosphere, our server did a super job taking care of our table of 6. The restaurant was very busy, but it didn't interfere with our experience. Food was amazing and lots of it! I had the rib steak with twice baked potato and veggies. Couldn't eat all 20oz of it! My wife had the 10oz prime rib. The desserts were huge and the specialty coffee selection was very nice. Will be back for sure!
I was here for my birthday dinner and got the chicken dinner was definitely not what i was expecting i also got red peppers and zucchini as my veggies and there are my least favorite as they made my stomach hurt. The drinks were very good tho id come here just for the bar!! The creme brule was good tho and large sizing too was free for my birthday! And really good customer service!
Came here for our first indoor post-covid family meal and The Keg did not disappoint! Our server was excellent and the food was Keg Quality. I ordered my steak medium-rare and it came out perfect. We enjoyed a laid back meal and never felt rushed. It was comforting to just hang out like the old days in a comforting atmosphere. Looking forward to our next visit
Got the prime rib classic it was good). Decided to get Seafood Topper for $15 too. Very disappointed about that price you get only 7 little shrimp and 1 tiny pieces of lobster both tasted overcooked as well). A very very disappointed birthday meal for me : The photo shows that it was put in same container as the prime rib classic.
