Had lunch on a Saturday after a wonderful exploration of the nearby famous medieval church and castle and were most pleasantly surprised. The sort of menu where you could have chosen lots of dishes-between three of us we enjoyed bream, fish and chips and duck...followed by sticky toffee pudding and a frangipane tart. We all agreed that our meals were delicious-hot, fresh, tasty, well presented and from locally sourced ingredients (where possible). Service was professional, unintrusive and friendly. The bar area where we were seated was cosy and dog friendly. Clean loos are always a good point -and not always a given, sadly. The resident spaniel was very attentive while we were eating but I t...

After an exquisite morning visiting the church of St Mary and St David at Kilpeck we strolled down the road to The Kilpeck Inn for lunch. Didn't know anything about it, but we were so very glad we found it. THIS PLACE IS EVERYTHING IT...SHOULD BE AND EVERYTHING ANYONE COULD POSSIBLY WANT. It's welcoming, friendly and efficient, and offers a sensibly-priced menu to suit all tastes. Our vegetarian was very happy. The Inn also has enough room to cope with folks who (like us) drop in on spec. Food and service are all magnificent, and a brilliant time was had by everyone. Difficult to find more glowing terms to come up with, but if I could, I would. Five stars seem ungenerous for this gem of a ve...

came with an extended family of 10 of boston and coins to show the out-of-towners real British fish and chips in a real English country pub. there was no crumb left on a teller (including the tasty bream and fishcake, the other ordered.) we sat in one. next room, which gave us a nice feeling of the private sphere and occasion, and the personal was charming and courteous and patient with the two children in our group. can not wait to visit my next visit back home!

we were here for a night on a bike trip and it was excellent. the room was bright and fresh with high quality beds and beds and an intelligent bathroom. the meals were not served this evening, but the breakfast was the best on the following day. the journey. really good quality ingredients; such a change from cheap and bad quality often served. I wish everywhere, we stay as good as the kilpeck inn. Reserva una mesa ahora

Went there for lunch today, we were greeted and served by a very friendly polite young women, nothing was too much trouble for her a real pleasure. We had the roast beef sandwiches and a side order of chips, the beef was lovely and the...Rosemary salted chips were great real quality, we finished off with puddings which were delicious! We will definitely be going back to this fabulous pub.

A pleasant drive to this appealing place was followed by an excellent lunch. Food was beautifully presented and equally delicious. Service was timely without being intrusive. Ice cream even served at exactly the right temperature! Lots of lovely looking walks nearby so I suspect this...may became a family favourite. Thank you to all who interacted with us.

Excellent food, good value for money and lovely atmosphere. Came for dinner on Saturday evening with family, food was lovely and well presented. Staff were good, if a little inattentive and in one case very inexperienced, and the pub and restaurant were really lovely.

it was 45 minutes to foot from the b b b, but really it was worth it. I had an 8 oz steak and it was delicious. the pub/restaurant is really traditional in a small village well worth visiting all the main roads! Reserva una mesa ahora
