Just called by this public house for a drink outside on a glorious sunny day , my friend did the honours and bought the drinks , I stayed outside. He says it was like walking into a time capsule, it still had its original fixtures and fittings , including gas lights but not working I think. The beer was nice and cold , there was outside seating at the front of the pub ,overlooking the very small village of Heath , in the Wakefield district of West Yorkshire. The Thai food at this traditional British pub is truly outstanding. The value for money is fantastic and the staff are extremely helpful. We have visited multiple times, even though it is an hour away from our home. The location is perfect for a leisurely walk before or after your meal. Prices range from £30 to £40 per person, and we rate the food, service, and atmosphere all a perfect 5 out of 5.

Very friendly staff the young lady that served me was anyway lol a nice pint for me and wife liked her cider sat outside as we had dog, looking over heath , seems much better than it used to be , now a local I will visit more
