Just dropped in as we live locally and we were walking with our son his fiancee and our granddaughter. We also had our son's dog with us. We were made extremely welcome and the food was very good and what I had was lovely. We will definitely be back perhaps during the week soon Food: 5 Service: 5 Atmosphere: 5
A truly great country pub. Staff were very welcoming. The music was awesome. If you love guitar based bands you will be in your element. The food is absolute heaven. We all had starters, mains and desserts. The drinks slipped down very well also. Lovely, lovely venue.
only had fabulous meal at the head of the king, great staff, excellent service and good value for money. had only the Tuesday offer and eton finish and loved it all. worth a visit. we'll be back when we get to this wise. Thank you.

Nice pub, great service, but food came a little too quickly hence the skin on fries were definitely refried! The burger special and light bite fish goujons were good though.
