The Kingswood Arms

It was all a little disappointing. I appreciate Christmas is a busy time, staff may be tired and we had booked the last table before they closed on Boxing Day afternoon but I think it could have been better. Food was average, menu wasn’t great and service wasn’t the best. We also didn’t appreciate the restaurant being rearrange for bookings the following day around us….tables and chairs being dragged across the floor. It was a shame really.

The dining room at the back of the pub is very well laid out, away form the drinking section at the front. We went on a quiet Friday lunchtime. and therefore were able to enjoy very good service along with decent food. We hadn't been for many years when it was called the Pigeon Pair. Will be trying it again.

Our table was pre-booked.Not many others there apart from a works party.After Waiting an hour and a quarter for the meal to arrive , I enquired how much longer.The answer was they had pre booked meals.Ours was pre booked too!! Food was nothing special.Our bill was wrong Won’t be going there again

Came for Sunday lunch for family birthday meal, beautiful pub amazing food and lovely staff, had the trio of roasts and was honestly the best roast dinner I’ve had out, my grandsons both had meals from the children’s menu and the portion sizes are great, will definitely be returning

Thank you to the amazing team for helping to organise my boyfriends surprise 21st. Would highly recommend this pub for any occasion. Thank you to the lovely manager Sam who went above and beyond to make the day as special as possible!!
