Booked for a family Christmas Eve festive lunch Arrived at 12:30 which was the first sitting to be met with We have no stuffing We have no Pigs in Blankets We have no Venison Pie When children are looking forward to a Christmas lunch and two of main ingredients in a kids eye are not present this is unacceptable Whilst we were still eating our starters, they brought the main courses out to the table When we finally got around to wanting the main course, it arrived where the potatoes and vegetables had obviously been cooked previously and then reheated too much as they were hard and burnt. Very disappointed. Four of our choices on menu not available due to “delivery issues”. No gluten free bread either then chicken and vegetables curry arrived without the chicken! We also had to remind them that a side order of chips was missing and on one occasion actually went to the bar to get our drinks. The young lad that served us tried his best but the whole experience was below the standard I expect from Vintage Inns.
Came for Christmas meal with the family. Service was a bit slow but fine. Disappointed that not all food on the festive menu was available though which meant no vegetarian option! complaints that no toys in the crackers and other family members though the steak was like eating rubber
Had amazing Christmas lunch here. We were served by Emily but all staff were on top form to make our Christmas dinner an amazing experience. The food was so delicious and every course and five star treat! We can not praise the staff and chefs enough. Amazing all round!

Can I just say a big thank you for the wonderful Sunday lunch my daughter a d I had yesterday 10th December., it was delicious cooked to perfection and served in the most wonderful surroundings, the staff were plentiful and helpful, I would whole recommend you to many.
Pre Christmas lunch with my friend, we had a lovely table by the fire and had very good service. We chose from the normal menu and food was very good. Always a lovely cosy atmosphere. I’m booked for Christmas Day Lunch so expecting a very good lunch!
Great service by Leyla on my Christmas lunch today. Service was fantastic. Very filing. Pub manager very attentive and went out of his way to make sure we had a great Christmas lunch.
Jamie was brilliant, funny, well spoken and delivered service with a smile. The food was very nice. Seabass was A class. I would come back here.

Leyla was an exceptional server, the food was delicious, and the staff was always smiling. The restaurant also had a great selection of drinks.
Went to see Glen and his all stars tonight. Great night and great food. Will be going back for some music again for the next band night.
