The staff at the restaurant were unfriendly during our first visit. When we asked about taking a table, the lady at the counter was abrupt. I requested a diet coke that was not on the menu, so I ended up ordering a pot of tea instead. My friend wanted a fizzy drink, but the menu had very limited options. The waitress recommended a strawberry and lime drink, which we ordered. However, when it arrived, we found out it also contained cucumber, which was not enjoyable. We took our 2 young grandchildren here for lunch as a treat. When we arrived at 12.05pm we were shown to our table by a rather scruffy lady were told that it would be half an hour until our orders were taken as the kitchen was 'catching up ', whatever that meant. Even though lunch was supposed to start at 12pm. We then waited over half an hour before the waitress came to take our order. Although there were quite a few staff, only one seemed to taking orders. We then waited another half an hour before the food came. Our grandchildren were very patient but we were extremely unhappy with the standard of service and the 'don 't care ' attitude to the customers. We shall not return.
Popped in after a dog walk in Toft. Such a lovely unique place. Shop is well stocked and varied. Butchers amazing. Stayed for lunch, dog friendly. Had the salt and pepper cauliflower….. wow! Also had buttermilk chicken wrap which was delicious. Beautiful setting. Friendly staff. Re: the few negative reviews about service, please can we remember that all the food is freshly cooked to order!!! and at busy times it will be busy. Oh and be kind to hospitality staff they are trying their best to ensure we have a lovely experience and food. Would highly recommend, sit, enjoy the views and slow down the pace

This restaurant is one of our favorite places to go for morning coffee and tea cakes. They also serve delicious lunches. The food is always fantastic (we love the truffle and Parmesan fries) and the staff is very friendly. After our meal, we like to browse the farm shop and often end up buying more than we planned. It's a great place for finding gifts. Overall, it's a perfect spot to spend a few hours. You might even see a celebrity there!
Gorgeous setting lovely restaurant to catch up with family . The food and service is fantastic. Lovely to sit outside in the summer and lovely and warm and relaxing in the winter. Brilliant farm and gift shop. Lovely to see the restaurant using local fresh produce and selling these items too . Has a loyalty card for all purchases . I bought some lovely Christmas cards and gifts . Looking forward to returning again soon thank you everyone
The front desk greeted us brusquely and instructed us to pick our own table. The waiter took our drink order after a 10-minute wait, but did not take our food order, leaving us waiting for our Sunday lunches. Despite the room being busy, there was a lack of staff present. After waiting an additional 20 minutes with no further service, we left feeling disrespected and hungry. Unfortunately, we do not plan on returning to this restaurant.
Unfortunately we didn't have a good experience here today. Having been shown to our table and given menus the staff completely ignored us. They were more concerned with clearing tables and disappearing out of view. In the end we gave up. Shan't be returning.

Great little spot for a breakfast or lunch all fresh cooked food specials are always fantastic never disappoints, great spot in summer with the open top roof and the farm shop next door is brilliant. Highly recommended
