Surprised to find this classic hole-in-the-wall hot dog place in upscale Lake Forrest! Needed a quick bite in the afternoon and grabbed a Chicago dog and Tortilla Soup. The soup was off the rails good! (And my wife and I know good tortilla soup having grown up in San Diego). Turns out the owner’s Momma is a soup queen and makes Soups from scratch daily. Wow what a surprise. Friendly staff too. Can’t go wrong here.

Are you serious? I'm visiting from out of town, and I can confidently say these are the best hot dogs I've ever had! It's a family-owned business, and they’re amazing. Thank you all so much! Highly recommend!
Love this place... use to come here since I was in 5th grade many years ago, and now I'm bringing my kids also to eat here. We take a 40 min drive just to have lunch here once a month
Charming little spot for lunch! I had the Chicago-style vegan hot dog, and it was really tasty. The service was excellent, and the restaurant was spotless.
The phone at the restaurant needs to be repaired. It has been out of service for months, and no one answers when I call.

I had my first hotdog there almost 50 years ago, and I still love them. Now my daughter enjoys them as well!
