Came here because my best friend loves it. Waited 10 minutes for a table on a Friday afternoon. No biggie. We were seated promptly after the 10 minutes and given menus and drink order taken quickly. Received the drinks quickly and young blonde waitress said she’ll be back to take our order. Took her 15 minutes to come back. I honestly thought we were forgotten about for a second. We ordered 1 appetizer and 2 meals. One being a salad. I hosted my Son's wedding rehearsal dinner at the Library Cafe on 10/20/23. Working with Catering Sales Manager Melissa to book this event was a pleasure. She helped us pick the right type of menu for our group of 33 and set us up in the loft (with a bar), which was a perfect size for our party. Great view as well. Mike and his team were very attentive during the dinner, ensuring all guests had drinks and were served dinner at the same time. Delicious food. The fish and chips were a huge hit amongst our guests who selected that option, not just on taste, but the fun way they were served (in a shallow tin bucket). Waited at the door for 5 minutes before a waitress welcomed us. She said she will be right with us and walked to a table where a family had a dog and dropped down to the floor to pet it. Another 2-3 minutes go by and another waiter walks past us not even seeing if we were being helped or needed a table. After waiting around for almost 15 minutes we left to go elsewhere. Very disappointed that 2 waiters walked passed us not even acknowledging us or letting us know if there was a wait. Especially when one goes to lay on the floor with a dog.
