What a fantastic discovery! The campsite recommended this restaurant and we were so impressed that we didn't want to dine anywhere else. If you're looking for a cozy atmosphere with a welcoming staff and a roaring fire, this is the perfect spot. The locals and regulars are friendly and happy to chat with you. The food is absolutely delicious, with generous portions of hearty pub fare such as mixed grill, lasagne, roast dinners, fish and chips, burgers, and a tempting dessert menu. The fries are freshly cut, not frozen, and the service is prompt and friendly. The prices are very reasonable considering the high quality of the ingredients.

Went for sunday carvery while visiting family in the area.Great choice of beef,pork,turkey and chicken pie and sausages.Loads of veg and bubble and squeak. Lovely mash and yorkshire puds and tasty gravy.Friendly pub with good atmosphere .Four lunches 3 beers and a coke for £55.Excellent value.Will definately visit when in the area next time.Cheered up a very wet sunday.

Staff very friendly, however the food was dreadful. We ordered fish and chips, and although it looked very impressive, the fish was so oily, we could not eat much of it. Visited a restaurant with family and were welcomed by a cozy fire - a very comforting sight on a dreary February day. The hospitality was warm and we ordered lasagne, scampi, and beef pie which were all delicious with generous portions leaving us all satisfied. Reserva una mesa ahora

The pub was very welcoming and the food was excellent. We enjoyed the best pub fare in a long time. The salad was superb with plenty of cold meats, and my husband loved the scampi - he said the chips were the best he's had in a while.

Do not recommend this restaurant. The owner's brother is involved in illegal drug activities and the restaurant has a shady environment. Food quality, service, and atmosphere all received a rating of 1.
