We had friends down and thought we'd stop here for some lunch. Bad mistake. Ordered our food and after waiting half an hour went to see where our order was to be told there was at least a 40 minute wait, which we weren't informed of when ordering. When the food eventually turned up after 45 minutes, we ordered sandwiches which on the order was described as having salad with it. The salad consisted of some red onion with some butter beans. The bread was hard in places, it had probably been sat on the side. The fish finger sandwiches were cold, and as for the ham and cheese toastie as you can see it was anaemic. Came in and almost lost my shoes the floor was that sticky. Even jokingly not jokingly said it to the bar man. Response was oh it was a busy night last night. Not sure how often they clean the place. Ordered a smothered bbq chicken burger. It took 50 odd minutes to arrive and could have been longer if I didn't ask. (the place was not busy at all when I ordered). Burger is shown in the pictures. If that's smothered I'd breath easy if they held a pillow to my face. As is the stairs that will be dropping in everyone's drink and food sitting below.
Absolutely incredible venue and even more incredible staff. I arranged my mums 50th surprise party here and all of the staff went above and beyond to ensure it all ran smoothly, there was constant communication and nothing was ever too much. If you’re considering having any event here, all I can say is do it! As mentioned before, all of the staff I couldn’t recommend enough but a special thanks to Craig and Andy for making me feel at ease! Thank you Liquorist for an amazing night which we will remember forever!
I don't usually write reviews however we had our work Christmas party here yesterday evening (large group of 35) And I had to show appreciation to the whole team. Food was great, drinks were flowing, fun music and perfect festive atmosphere. A massive thank you to Grace in particular for being great through all the booking and arranging for a perfect night. 5*

Great place for drinks and to watch sports. It’s always lively, food isn’t great though, and staff member was quite rude on our previous visit. (Told us not to order on the app anymore as the kitchens getting busy, how would customers be aware of that? Made it seem our fault they have an app ordering system..
Two hour wait for overcooked and inedible chicken burger. Manager incredibly rude! 1 star because there is a zero option! One of many customers who were offered a free drink due to poor service and poor quality of foods. Even the staff agreed when asked that they wouldn ' 't have eaten it.
Absolutely appalling. Ordered the cheese sandwich on granary bloomer. I got brown, very cheap bread with no butter. Filling to the middle to look like there is some. Triple cooked chips They should really go to Tesco and buy in some decent sandwiches
in this restaurant I ate very good chicken masala I rate 5 stars out of 5. Communication on the level, the waiter the cook. sensational. the food met my expectations. I recommend THE LIQUORIST testauration 100

Good beer. Nice southern fried chicken sub lunch deal. Staff behind the bar was a bit sharp. Maybe she was having a bad day… other staff were lovely and very helpful otherwise nice place.
Good food reasonably Priced . Great lunch time deal and variety. Well worth the visit. Philly Cheese steak is a must.
