Between the Resturaunt and the Deli if Fench is your thing then you'll love this quaint little restaurant! Penny and the team do not dissapoint in friendliness and atmosphere! The ambience was authentic to the cafés of paris and the food was perfect. Some say the courses as small portions however by the time you've made it through a fabulous 3 courses you don't walk away hungry. The escargot was all I had hoped it would be. And the petite min pastries for dessert were a wonderful tasting plate ti finish the meal. Between 5 of us we practically ordered the entire menu and no one was dissapointed! The Little French Deli is a pleasant restaurant for a relaxing dinner. As you would expect from the name, Food is heavily French infuenced: it is also exceptionally high quality. My french onion soup was excellent and my wife's cheese souffle was as light as a feather. My wife also had the plat du jour; coq au vin with lyonnaise potatoes. I had the peche du jour, which was beautifully cooked halibut, with crispy skin, served with kipfler potatoes and broccolini. Service was friendly, but slow. However, the relaxed ambience and high food quality made the delay forgivable. We'll be back.
We went to the LFD for a ladies catch up brunch. There was a bit of confusion over the orders but the food was quite nice. We had a voucher and were able to use the excess in the deli to take some tasty morsels home. What a drama that was. No room for staff and customers to order or serve. No apparent system. Happy to just leave in the end. Seems there's a bit of work to do in the hospitality and customer service area.
Had a lovely lunch at this little French Bistro. French waitresses, French radio, authentic French dishes. Situated right opposite the Bonbeach Station it is a very easy commute if you want to have a glass of french wine. Live music over weekends (check the website for times) and happy hour on a Sunday. Our breakfast was truly memorable. The coffee was great and my chocolate eclair (with chocolate custard) was the best I have had in Australia. My friend enjoyed her granola as well. She is now planning to bring her mother here from the other side of the city as she likes the decor and food so much.
called in for a coffee with our 3yr granddaughter...coffees were good and she enjoyed her bubbaccino.. Unfortunately we didn't eat here but the deli food looked delishI would lije to come back for a dinner or lunch...lovely french ambience
We loved our lunch here last week and will be sure to return. Children loved the dessert and toasted croissant and my soufflé was a rare treat. Little take away deli very appealing too
Great little place for brekky and lunch both indoors and outdoors with genuine French food as well as French staff.
