My partner and I did a double date here for dinner. First impressions is the restaurant is small, but very cute. The location is great downtown Haddonfield. Small means very limited seating and the vibe is business casual with BYOB, but elegant dining experience you’d wanna take you’re time with. That being said come with patience. When we sat, the server was very polite and opened our bottles and got ice. We took our time trying to limit what we are going to order and failed. However, everything was exceptional. I’ve never had frog legs before and I’m not sure I can eat them anywhere else. Run here don’t walk because you won’t want to miss this place.
The Little Hen hace lo mejor que puede tener que lidiar con los asientos al aire libre debido a Covid. Ubicado en una esquina, un comensal tiene que aceptar el tráfico que se detiene en el semáforo, personas que caminan cerca de su mesa, algunas con máscaras y otras no. Mi esposa me ocupé de ello en nuestra mesa con una sombrilla que protegía a mi esposa del sol de verano, pero no tanto a mí. Nuestra comida lo compensó nuestro servidor fue excepcional. Este es un buen cambio a otros restaurantes en Haddonfield el área. El menú francés está bien ejecutado, este restaurante merece un buen apoyo.
Got there at 8:15 with no reservation, they very happily seated me. Server was friendly and accommodating. The shrimp appetizer was beautifully prepared and the portion was beyond generous, I’ve had entrees that were smaller. The steak was perfectly grilled with a wonderful sauce. The description of the 20 layer crepe “cake” made me have to try it! All in all the meal was delightful. On the way home an odd thought popped into my head, that would make a wonderful “last meal”!

I first went here with my fiancé on a date night. It was absolutely delicious! The restaurant is small but cozy and intimate. You definitely want to get a reservation just for peace of mind. Limited menu but it is always delicious and they do change the specials. I went for a second time with my friends for my birthday because we loved it so much. I will definitely be coming back again!
I had a fantastic evening at a restaurant in Haddonfield. The service was exceptional and the cozy atmosphere was just right. The menu may be small, but it offers some intriguing seasonal dishes. I highly recommend trying it out, I definitely plan on returning in the future!
A true gem of a restaurant! My husband and I always have the most phenomenal meal here. The restaurant is cozy, the food is out of this world (I dream about the mushroom toast and duck frite) and the service is 5 star. We always can’t wait till we come back!
We had an amazing dinner, ordering 8 dishes, and every single one was outstanding. The dishes were thoughtful, bursting with great flavor, and expertly prepared.

No atmosphere, but wonderful food from start to finish. It would be nice if they had a wine cooler to offer those who BTHOB.
