I came here for a 2nd time recently, to meet a girlfriend for coffee. It confirmed my impression from my first visit a few months back, of being a lovely little cafe with a nice relaxed atmosphere, friendly helpful staff, very nice coffee and chai, and also a range of coffees/teas to choose from. The cakes, slices and savouries looked yummy but we didn't taste this time (vego and vegan options also available I think). We didn't sit outside but there are chairs and tables outside in a quiet courtyard - would be nice on a warm/sunny day and better than some of the cafes in the main Blackwood shopping precincts which are right on to a car park or street. Little Leaf and Bean is hidden behind a small non-descript group of shops. There is a sign pointing the way, so follow it! The café offers seating in and outside. The inside walls display work from local artists. The coffee is good and the cakes are delicious. The service is a little slow sometimes but always with a smile. It is child friendly and I have seen children drawing on the concrete with chalk whilst their parents chat and have coffee, very relaxed.
This is my favourite little coffee shop in Blackwood.They have lovely coffee and other hot drinks, as well as light meals and sweet things, mostly home made. The people that run the shop are very friendly and it is a great place to relax with a hot drink in the company of a friend or two.Parking can be a little tricky when the neighbouring Memorial Hall is in use. Otherwise, it's a winner!
A reasonable selection of breakfast options. Gluten-free friendly. Their omelettes are quite interesting and worth a try. Seating outside on a nice spring day is a great idea. This is out of the way on Coromandel Parade set back from the road in a strip shopping area. Need to know it's there but if you find it, at least stop for a coffee break. Reserva una mesa ahora
We went to this cafe with some friends as they gave it a good wrap. Cafe is quirky and the choices good.Staff were pleasant and we were lucky enough to strike a lovely sunny day so could have sat outside.Coffee came with our raisin toast and was great.A bonus the Blackwood Market is next door on Sunday 1st of each month.Give this place try.
Today it was already 33degrees when we went here at 10am (heading for 41 !) so it was lovely to sit outside here under the shade. I enjoyed a lovely mug of chai latte. Had to wait maybe 3 minutes to be served as it was relatively busy, but the friendly staff take their time to make the drinks with care.
The owners can't be bothered living up to their advertised opening times and said they wouldn't serve us lunch at 1:20pm on a Sunday because they wanted to go home early even though they advertised they would be open until 3:30pm. Seriously bad attitude. Don't waste your time attempting to go here.
My favourite place to stop for a coffee in Blackwood. Small but varied menu of tasty, well-prepared food. Coffee is excellent. Reasonably priced. Lovely to sit outside in the warmer weather or enjoy the eclectic, cosy interior. Friendly staff, always welcoming Reserva una mesa ahora
