The Living Room On Main

I went to this restaurant for happy hour and was pleasantly surprised to find that they had vegan options. I ordered Crispy Brussels sprouts without the gorgonzola, Vegetable Samosa without cilantro raita, Vegan Meatloaf with mashed potatoes, asparagus, and mushroom “Demi glacé.” The dish was amazing and I savored every bite. The server was knowledgeable about vegan options and accommodating. They also offer a vegan stir fry that I didn’t try. The atmosphere, drinks, music, and service were all great. It’s the perfect place to dine with friends who enjoy meat and seafood while still enjoying an upscale vegan meal.

I visited this restaurant specifically for their vegan options, including a vegan meatloaf, which I saw on their online menu. However, to my disappointment, they have since completely revamped their menu and no longer offer any vegan dishes. The server recommended getting a salad and requesting the cheese and meat to be omitted, but most of the dressings were not vegan-friendly. On a positive note, their drink menu is excellent. I will continue to visit this restaurant for drinks, but I will not be able to enjoy any food options.

They have 20% tip policy in place. Very upfront about it but I don’t think it should be that high especially if there is poor service. Should be able to add on for great service. My husbands dish was not how it was described on the menu when he inquired about it the waiter just said that’s the way it is and never batted an eye or could have cared less when he removed his plate later with only one bite removed. Rest of our parties food was average. Disappointed.

Several people recommended we eat at The Living Room during our stay at The Fenway so we really felt like we needed to give it a try and we are glad we did! Instead of ordering dinner, we decided to take our time with a couple of appetizers and a cold beer and we were not disappointed! Rebecca was our server and she was very attentive to our needs and helped us with our selections. We will definitely eat here again should we find ourselves in Dunedin. Reserva una mesa ahora

The food at this restaurant had beautiful presentations and looked appealing, but unfortunately, the flavors were lacking. The Brussels sprouts were not crispy as we had hoped. We tried four different entrees, but none of us were particularly impressed. However, the atmosphere was enjoyable.

Unique inside and menu for a unique experience. If you are looking for normal food then I would not suggest this place. A reservation is good to avoid waiting.
