This is the last vestige of what made Atlanta great. Places like this... Manuel's, the Highlander, Clairemont Lounge (I know some still exist, but in name only) if you had told a true Clairemont Lounge patron back in the day that soon you'll be able to hang out on the roof covered in astro turf but you can only go on half of it due to a private party that doesn't show up til 11:15pm (it's 10:20pm) and pay about 20 bones for a pink lemonade in a plastic cup with a smidge of vodka in it... I'm not sure you'd survive. It sucks that in the process of everyone moving to this city it somehow took away everything that was great about it. Nice vibe but the drinks seemed watered down and especially for premium liquor, I couldn’t taste any alcohol and didn’t even have a half of a half, half buzz. The server was nice, but they stopped selling food around 11pm or 11:30pm. The weak drinks wasn’t worth the money at all. We left and went to this like underground place across the parking lot from here that had 2 different rooms and bars and it was lit ? their drinks were delicious and you can definitely taste the liquor on the first sip and the vibe was awesome. I will update with the name of the place once I can remember it.
There isn’t a ton of seating in this place, so if your group is larger than 4, try to arrive on the early side (5-6pm). If you’re a group of 4 or less you shouldn’t have to wait too long for a table. A pretty dark atmosphere with rock music makes for a cool experience. Good service and good food. Make sure you have your idea because you won’t get in without it.
The owner is a old rude hooka smoking miserable man that sits in the lounge and stalk the costumers he’s also the DJ and he’s very weird this place doesn’t even have a restroom the bar tender spits when she talks over your food and drinks this is a horrible establishment that needs to be closed down.
