Popped in for a late lunch as my partner had driven past the previous week, he thought it looked interesting. He was not wrong, it is a really welcoming friendly place with food that shows just how much they care for taste and variety. The staff are great and know all about the lovely food on offer. Everything I think is made on the premise or from nearby producers. We opted for a bowl each of their fabulous salads one with a strong cheddar and leek quiche and one with a pork pie. They brought the food to the table after we had had a good look at what was in the display cabinets. The staff answered our questions and volunteered more information which was really helpful. I had a mixed experience at the restaurant. The scone and coffee were as delicious as always, but I was surprised to find my scone served with a plastic knife and in a paper cup. The jam was just average, which is why I’m giving it 4 stars. The prices are on the higher side, as mentioned in other reviews. However, they have a solid COVID-19 protocol in place, allowing one person in and one person out, which applies to the restrooms as well. The sanitizing measures seem effective, and there's plenty of seating available.
I've eaten a bit to see from a house in otley before my best friend kim took a bite. what a nice place kim had the homemade quiche (flamn, it is a Yorkshire thing) and the right chips that I had mushrooms on toast with caramelized wobble and a perfectly poched egg, kim finished hers and I loved mine, though it was a wee bit too much for me so I couldn't finish it, but we will definitely be back. afternoon tea next time thanks. look forward to homemade cakes and a cuppa in a bit.
Visited with a friend for the first time today for breakfast and both really enjoyed our experience. Beautiful hearty breakfast with quality fresh ingredients. Sausages and bacon were especially tasty, and granary toast was delicious you can see (and taste! it's all real home cooked goodness. The coffee was perfect with a good selection. Will definitely be back to try lunch! I was able to buy some groceries too which was convenient and of good quality. Thank you

Fantastic quality food! Great selection. sometimes get my partner to bike there just to collect brownies (well it happened once but neither of us regretted it). Amazing salads and cooked savoury deli like things. Nice deco and plates and things

I will definitely be returning! The breakfast was fantastic, with pies delivered from local butchers and farmers. The preserves and pastries were sourced from local artisans as well. I think this café has the best view around!
I had only the best vegetarian breakfast of all time! it was absolutely delicious. especially the garlic and spinach mushrooms that my man had a similar delicious meaty breakfast
