The Londesborough Arms

This establishment is managed by a couple focused solely on making a profit. When I requested a record of my card payment, the landlady, Caroline, informed me that they only accept cash. The rooms were dirty, damp, and had an unpleasant odor, with only one towel provided for my entire seven-day stay. The hosts lacked any sense of humor or hospitality. It appears their only goal is to make money. I've been traveling for work my whole life, and this is the worst place I have ever stayed. I strongly recommend steering clear of it.

We received a warm and friendly welcome from the family. We visited for tea to celebrate my daughter's birthday, and the food was fantastic! We will definitely be returning. xx
