The London Tea Room

The London Tea Room has a lovely ambiance. We were in the upstairs space with pretty chandeliers. One person at our table had requested gluten free items. When the waitstaff brought our tea trays to the table, they noticed tha request. They took our trays away! It was another 10 minutes before they returned with identical) trays and a single plate of gluten free items. We were starving. They didn't bring enough tea for everyone at the table. We went for a friend's birthday, and it was quite nice. The tea spread was fantastic, everything tasted good, and the price was fairly reasonable for what you get. The space is very cool as well, and while I didn't care for the high ceilings, as that made the whole place echo quite a lot, the décor was nice and the room itself was beautiful. I haven't seen any of the upstairs rooms, but I hear they're cool as well. We've been getting tea from them for years, but it was my first time at the new location and I have to say that I enjoyed it. We will be returning.

Excellent new venue. Service, atmosphere and food are outstanding. Love the selection of teas...always hit the retail store. Frequent flyer and never disappointed! Food choices for the various teas are on point, with excellent service and lots of information provided, to those who are interested. I love the retail shop and always leave with packages of tea (some new to try, some old friends). A St. Louis treasure.

This was my first time having afternoon tea at The London Tea Room and it was a great experience! The girl who sat us, our server, and the guy at the table in the shop area were all wonderful and the kitchen staff deserves recognition as well for producing such delicious sandwiches and sweets! We loved our afternoon tea at the London Tea Room! Everything was yummy, our server very helpful and attentive, and no one tried to rush us through our elegant tea. We had the vegetarian version of afternoon tea, which was delightful. I would go again and would bring friends.

I would have liked to have more verity of savory items. Also the scone seemed dry and too big for High Tea. The savory items were fantastic, and sweet items very ordinary, like stored bought that I have had before. Overall it was a great experience.

Not worth it. Person at Hostess stand was not friendly and couldn't be bothered by us interrupting what she was doing on her (personal)phone with earbuds in. She walked away from us and got someone else to seat us.

The place is very nice. I think overpriced for the for the food. They didn’t feel fresh, more like premade somewhere else and just preheat and assemble in the place. If that’s the case it’s not worth a repeat. Reserva una mesa ahora

I love the afternoon tea experience. The food was absolutely amazing, and the teas were wonderful. We would definitely return as the treats change seasonally.
