The Loose Goose

We were in Windsor for a concert and staying at the Travelodge, which is right around the corner. The place was very busy, apparently with concert goers, however the staff still managed to get to us in a timely manner. I am a lover of craft beer so it was nice to have a board with a fair selection of beer and our server was right on with her recommendation. The food was excellent and I would definitely recommend a stop here.

Sitting on the patio you can see the Detroit skyline and the river. It was a pleasant experience, marred only by drunken idiots who spent 15 minutes insulting the security staff who were calm, cool and collected the whole time. The Montreal smoked meat sandwich was excellent, but beware the burgers are both great and huge. Fries and onion rings were both good, and the selection of craft beer on tap impressive.

Stopped by for a quick bite and a cold beer before heading to the Tiger Game in Detroit. The bartender is one of the few guys who knows how to pour a Guinness on draft! He was also amazingly helpful with suggestions for tickets and how much to pay. Food was ok - typical bar food.

Overall it was good food with great sized portions.....staff were very friendly with smiling faces...The down side it took forever to get our food with one reqest being made to feed all kids first and sadly they ended up being last !!

Monday night is all you can eat wing night. Busy place everyone had wings. Poutine was fantastic fries super crispy even with the gravy. Super close to the Riverwalk. Some seating outside.
