The Lowry - Reservar una mesa

The Lowry Bar and Restaurant is The Lowry's own (you've guessed it) Bar and Restaurant. The Lowry does have lots of chains including Lime Bar, Pizza Express, Harvester and Costa but still, I decided to come in here and have a coffee, and admire the view of Media City. They didn't mind me sitting outside on the ocean front and eating my own cake, which I bought from the food fair which was good. The coffee was small and it came to around that for £6 and a cider for my friend, I found this to be quite expensive as the coffee was around £3 on its own, and although I did enjoy it, I could of got one that represented better value for money at so many places within minutes of a walk away. We visited the Julia and Axel exhibition at the Lowry. It is a free exhibition and is fantastic for all ages. It also includes the L.S. Lowry exhibition which is well worth a visit. You can easily spend a full day here because there is so much to see. It is ideal for kids to visit during the summer holidays and it is on until the start of January 2024. It is a well planned exhibition. Full marks to the organisers.

The Lowry is an arts centre, full of exhibitions, art installations, a theatre and galleries. A treat after a trip to the theatre was having a meal at The Lowry’s Pier Eight restaurant. Pier Eight has a setting of waterside views. It was nice to have lots of time to relax while dining, to chat and reflect on how enjoyable the show was.

Visited for the MAPAS Showcase. All staff were polite and friendly. Big enough building, however, was crowded as there were a few events on at the same time. Was served at the bar fast. However, there wasn't a variety of soft drinks. Seats were comfortable in the arena halls, with plenty of space.

My wife and I had afternoon tea it was fabulous , our daughter Joanne paid for it for our Wedding Anniversary , my Wife Carole said she felt so pampered , it was really special . we will definitely come again and recommend to all our friends ,

Not a building that's easy o the eye at all. Loud, bold and ugly. However the seating arrangements are great, you can see very well no matter where your sat. Unlike the Palace or the Opera House..
