We went to Lucky Well for a birthday dinner on a whim, and we're SO GLAD that we did! The ambience was great; we had a reservation for a standard table located in the quieter dining area, but as my son wanted to watch the ball games on the big screen TVs, we were easily able to switch to a high top. Our server (the name we unfortunately forgot) was so friendly and knowledgeable, and it stopped with our and the needs of our children with a smile. And the food! Oh, my God, it was so good. Food was terrible. So disappointed as we have eaten here before and have always found it to be good. The queso cheese dip with brisket came out cold and with a layer of water on top. We sent it back only to find out that the new one was maybe 1 degree warmer, however still had a layer of water. It was inedible and honestly disgusting. Next came out meats…ribs, brisket and burnt ends. All cuts were very tough, to the point it was hard to even bite through. The meat was barely cooked. Fortunately my husband saved our meal and our wallets by bringing the meats home and cooking them himself. 3 hours wrapped at 250 degree and the meat was melting in our mouths. We sat right on arrival in a quiet area with us. Our waiter came by immediately and was very nice and helpful. Our food came out very quickly and was hot and delicious. Our meal and dessert were even better! I couldn't recommend this place enough. The chocolate brisket Brownie was the best dessert I ever had!

Our server, Courtney was excellent. The burgers were great. Have to say that the drinks were quite expensive. That would be the only negative. Otherwise, overall a good night.
