I discovered this place on the same day I lost my apartment to a fire in neighbor's unit. Cold and broken i found this gem to bring warmth back to my life. I call this sort of a establishment a dive bar PLUS which translates to just my kind of place. They had great local options on tap. Bartender was super friendly. There were nuts on the ground! A proper time indeed. And there's old tap handles on the ceiling, never seen that before. The food was also phenomenal and the atmosphere had a welcoming, communal vibe. Perfect for snagging regulars. Will be back to say hi to Dolly Parton.
The food here is EPIC. It's elevated bar food but they do it SO well. The chili has no right being that delicious!! Great beers too. I seriously want to try everything. On top of that, the service is great, very friendly and efficient. Just a really good vibe all around.
They always treat us like old friends, the food pairs well with any booze, and the music is always top notch. Who ever did the audio setup for this place crushed it.
I had a great time overall. There was an issue with me listening to my cell phone at the bar. It was not loud at all but it was okay for a dog to sit at the bar.
