Alright, so this restaurant may not be the easiest to locate, but as someone who enjoys their food, I can tell you that for the price of £3.95, you can enjoy a Sunday lunch complete with freshly baked Yorkshire puddings. In comparison, the nearby Silk Wood carvery costs more than double the price and tastes like it has been left under heat lamps since 9:30 am. I have witnessed the chefs preparing for the rush in just 3 hours, which is why I recommend trying out The Magnet instead. I have only visited this restaurant once, on a Sunday night for karaoke. It was an amazing evening. It is a typical neighborhood spot where everyone knows each other, but we were welcomed and made to feel included in the social atmosphere. The restaurant is quite large, with a rough and ready feel, filled with lovable characters. There is a great selection of draft beers and especially bottles and shots available at the bar.
We came here for Christmas dinner me and my family, it's the first year we have gone anywhere instead of having it at home. Because there was lots of us we wanted to go somewhere reasonably priced. I was apprehensive at first however we were not disappointed at all, we had a spacious room to ourselves and the food was gorgeous, the staff are really nice helpful people and I will definitely be returning in the future
We come to the magnet every Sunday for lunch. My 2 year old loves it. The food is lovely, staff are friendly and the prices are great. There is a children's play area outside with seating for nicer days so you're not trapped indoors. And if you have any special requirements with food every effort is made to ensure you are catered for! 5

We spent a lovely day and eve here..the food was lovely and would defo visit again..the staff were friendly and helpful ..even nippin ny hub to the shop down the road due to weather...thanks guys keep up the good work

The negative comment made by the woman, calling me a fat slob, was completely unnecessary just because I forgot to return a glass.
Just called in for a quick drink, no bar staff to be seen. Stood waiting for five full minutes. Came out without been served.
