"We have been coming to The Maine Maid Inn since I was a child (I am 47). Back in the day it was a wonderfull place, but now it's just a regular restaurant enclosed in a old building that is not kept clean, it acctually looks like it's falling apart. There is nothing I can say that is positive about the food, so why would you for here, to see some crudddy old floors and pictures?"

The only people I would recommend this restaurant to is ones that I wanted to play a joke on. Both, my wife and I, just kept looking around waiting for someone to pop out and tell us we were part of some new reality show that was filming sketches in the place. We waited for 15 minutes for someone to walk over and greet us, then 15 more for a table when the place was about only half full. The staff was very pleasant and nice but it seemed like opening night in the place and nobody knew who was in charge rather than the oldest restaurant on the north shore. The food itself must have been wonderful when it was still hot but I couldn't verify that. I can say it was good when I received it warm....
