It quickly became evident why they wanted us out. We sat there, empty-handed, idly waiting for the next fifteen minutes. I overheard the staff—young women in their twenties—discussing how eager they were to close up and head out for their own night out. I rarely write negative reviews, but I was truly disappointed! They stopped serving food at 2:30 PM, and even though it was just a few minutes past that time, there was no flexibility at all. Instead, they suggested we try the cafes up the street. We won't be returning; this was our first visit back from America after 15 years, and it seems that some things haven’t stood the test of time. It might be time for new management.

The house wine is reasonably priced, the staff are friendly, and the location by the river is quite pleasant. I've heard it can get busy, but during my visits, it hasn’t felt crowded since I've mainly stopped in for drinks before dinner. The interior has a bright, summery feel, and there's a lovely outdoor area that I’m sure makes for a nice spot for drinks on a summer Sunday afternoon.
