The Maroon Pig Art Gallery and Sweet Shop

We had the distinct good fortune of wondering onto this place while riding our bikes to Georgetown, PEI - fabulous and tasty home cooked bakery items that were to die for. The lovely proprietor even made us some custom raisin loaded cinnamon buns for the next day - they were delicious and we even found a way to drop by for few more treats on our last day. Would highly recommend a visit or two if you are in the area - there is also some very interesting and unique artwork around the place - hence the the name "art gallery and sweet shop"

The best deserts north of the equator. I just cannot help myself, since the conversation goes like this, " what's that? ", I'll have two ✌ of them, what's that?, and I'll have two of those, and that? I'll have them also. On and on and on. Pure evil that shop is and while your there, every day a delicious hot meal on the patio or take out.A small gallery of charming art work to study and purchase. And yes, I will return soon.

My brother-in-law dragged us here for the delicious desserts and although they are good, it was their lunch specials that had us return more than once. The locals come for these specials so I think that says a lot. We had pizza one day and the best mushroom soup I've ever had on another day. Yum! The owner is friendly and welcoming. Highly recommended!

Quaint bakery with a variety of homemade treats to choose from. Elected for the cinnamon bun.....every bite was delicious. Takeout options. Limited seating, Stop in, won't be disappointed. My family and I stopped in to pick up some treats while we were in town. Everything we purchased (cinnamon roll, brownie, lime bar, and triple chocolate cookie) was delicious! The lady who was working was very friendly and welcoming. Definitely worth a stop if you are in the area.

This was simply a fun visit. We showed up when it was a big dreary outside but this family run business will Definately warm you to the bones. Awesome Island centric artwork and incredibly well baked sweets. All at a reasonable price.

Want a sweet fix? Homemade with LOVE & TLC? PEI has a hidden gen the Maroon Pig is by far worth the drive & the perfect little spot for something sweet!!! Love this place!! We always go back for more every time we visit the Island ;)

We just happen to see this wonderful bakery and art shop. The best ever raspberry coconut squares - so yummy!!! Stop in if you are driving by!!

Nice artwork and interesting collectibles as well. We did not try the food but it looked good! Friendly owners as well.
