I am vegan and my friend has no food restrictions. we wanted to come here because they had told them they had a vegan menu. both of us were thrilled to choose a complete menu of elements. I would consider them a restaurant with a few vegan options not vegan friendly. for beginners the vegan cheese sauce for fondue was nothing special. it was artificially comminuted cheese with oil and garlic. they served raw unzackten vegetables and cold brot for dunking. the 4-course vegan dinner menu was nice! These include cheese, salad, deer and chocolate. Unfortunately, the waiting staff made a mistake and served us cheese as a side sauce! we only knew it after we ate it, and the manager was super apologetic and he certainly understands veganism, and therefore it will probably not happen again - but it is still deeply disturbing that we all ate some animal products. two sauces (they are white) are not vegan. if I ever go back, I would ask if every single ingredient that is placed on the table. we were so clear to be vegan and we just got the vegan menu.
It was ok. The waiter was kind and probably new. There were a few mistakes made such as we asked for a bottle of sparkling wine and one person got a glass. It was corrected. Plus I felt that the courses were rushed.
I love the vegan fondue especially with the brezelbrot. I get the fondue, then a small salate I always enjoy, and the chocolate fondue mixed with the fruit. everything from the vegan menu and all delicious!
