We usually come here to watch football, and since the recent renovation, it has transformed into a fantastic space with a vibrant atmosphere for game nights. There are plenty of screens to watch from, and we appreciate that unlike other venues with "adults-only" sections, The Mid allows families to enjoy football together without any restrictions. It’s so refreshing to find a place where we can have a meal, drinks, and entertainment as a family. Plus, the pool table is a fun bonus! The Middlesex is a delightful spot to enjoy a drink or a meal. It caters to a diverse crowd, offering everything from coffee and pastries to inventive cocktails, as well as the usual selection of beers and spirits. I appreciate the non-smoking tables outside and the serene, laid-back ambiance both indoors and outdoors. The establishment is well-maintained and immaculate, and the bartenders are warm and welcoming. I truly enjoy this place and plan to return with my family for lunch. I highly recommend visiting the Middlesex Arms for a refreshing drink and a tasty snack.

Great pub with great atmosphere.Went to the weekly quiz night which is every weds evening and had a brilliant night,had a lovely meal before hand from the extensive food menu great variety and good quality.Friendly bar staff and outside seating too.Would highly recommend a visit.

Big, sprawling sports-centric pub, screens are everywhere, so you'll always have a good view of the game. Hearty grub and cheap cocktails. Friendly staff.
