Buckle up everyone...this is going to be a bumpy review!We go to Unionville a number of times a year and were waiting excitedly for the construction on this place to be done. Every time we went we would stick our faces to the window to see how close they were to finishing the construction.Since the weather was so nice we decided to sit outside. But the interiors are beautiful with the chandeliers and frames on the wall. I usually only like to write positive reviews but this was actually one of my top worst experiences, so it had to be noted. We were a group of 7 and we made reservations. First issue - Two people ordered the salmon and half a hour after the order was placed the waitress returned to say they only had one salmon left. Why the delay in this information? Second issue - each order come out separately with long stretches before the next person got their order. It was very weird, as there was 2 to 15 minutes gaps. One person in our party did not even eat his meal, which was a hamburger, because it came as we needed to leave. This was the same poor guy that had to switch his salmon order. We had to...

This was my second time dining at the Mill. My first time was with friends a few years back and I remember it being good. Went back with family visiting from out of town recently and I was rather disappointed, even embarassed to have been the one to suggest the venue. Upon arrival, on a hot day, we asked for indoor seating. We were told 'just to let you know the patio is busy so there may be a longer wait time for food'. We are a patient and understanding group, so we proceeded.We had ordered the cheese board, a salad, mussels and two pizzas. My mother in law picked this restaurant for Mothers Day dinner because of the line up she sees on the weekend. We are a party of 11 and ordered the Rueben, Mussels, Mushroom Ravioli, Salmon, Tuna Steak Salad including doubles of some items. Portion was inconsistent, salmon was dry, ravioli was drenched in an unnecessarily heavy cream sauce, and the salads took forever to come with - they were served when the rest of the family were half done, and the tardiness came without an apology. Tuna steak was dry and salty. Our server disappeared after the meal was served, our water went unrefilled for over an hour, and the best part? Located at the base of Main Street Unionville, this site seems to have been cursed, burning three at least owners and 4 formats in the past decade. It should be a great restaurant. The location is very good. They have a nice patio, overlooking the “mill pond”, although it really needed the cleaning it recently received as it had silted in and become malodorous, even the ducks were shunning it. But it is not a good restaurant. It is just mediocre. The food is ok. Nothing is special. The service is ok but you can get ignored for extended periods on the patio. This restaurant is beside the Unionville Planning Mill in Unionville, Ontario.We had dinner at Next Door last night before the Unionville Thursday night Music Fest. The food was terrible.I ordered The Nashville fried chicken. It was terrible. 2 pieces of chicken fried sitting on some creamed corn and kale. This place needs to get some side dishes. We went to this restaurant in the summer. At that time it was good so we decided during the winter holidays to go there again on a weekday as it was close to our neighbourhood. This time the service was terrible. There was only one waitress working. We asked for a drink and got that, then the waitress was too busy to even give us a menu. When we asked her about the services she said she was the only one working there that night because her colleague called in sick. The manager knew of this, but did not come in to help her so she was left to run things on her own. It was shocking. we paid our drinks and left. I won't ever go back again.

Had lunch here on a busy Unionville Saturday but there were only a few other customers. All the food was great. Chicken BLT, sweet potato fries and entree salad were all fresh and delicious. love a good burger now and then so i gave it a try. Loved it so much its now my go to there. Been three times and always have a good time. They bring in excellent bands and the patio is great in the summer. Spent New Years there. Salmon was good and the music rocked. Staff are friendly and I never feel rushed.

Had the muscles to start in the white wine sauce. They were excellent. The wings are also very good. The servers and staff are good and give recommendations. Give this place a try if you are in Unionville.
