The Milleridge Inn

I went to the Easter buffet in the Cottage this time, but I had also been here for Christmas. As a vegetarian, the buffet is the better choice. There's a good variety of food, all very tasty, and the restaurant and grounds are festively decorated. On holidays, be forewarned that the wait is very long! There are shops you can visit that are part of the Milleridge Inn, across from the restaurant itself. There was also a petting zoo and a lady making balloon animals for the kids. Aside from the long wait time, one other very small negative was that the baked desserts were a bit on the dry side, possibly because of the late time of day. I enjoyed dining at this restaurant. It is one of the most beautiful places I've ever been to. My husband loved it right away. I can see why Dover Restaurant group took over and saved the place. I am glad they did so. It makes me happy that such a beautiful place exists. The fries and burger are an amazing combo the fries are like steak fries and the burger is flavorful and tasteful. The coffee is also delicious. I got the Pot Roast and added a lot of gravy and I finished it when I got home.

The Sunday Brunch was great. Everything was delicious. There was no hostess, so we stood around for about 10 minutes. Our server was very nice, but didn't come back all that often to check on drinks. Definitely would return for the food. Cool building.

We had a 40th anniversary party there. We were in a private room. It was clean and well organized. The food was delicious, and the waitress couldn't have been any more accommodating. Would recommend.

Beautiful for big family occasions. Food alright. Service always great. Bar definitely needs update; dark and musty feel.
