I recently visited the Cottage for their Easter buffet, having also dined there during Christmas. As a vegetarian, I was pleased to see a wide selection of delicious options available. The restaurant and surrounding area were beautifully decorated for the holiday. However, be prepared for a long wait on holidays. There are some shops nearby that are part of the Milleridge Inn, conveniently situated just across from the restaurant. Additionally, there was a petting zoo and a woman making balloon animals for the kids, which contributed to the festive atmosphere. Pam, Amanda, and Sue truly exceeded our expectations at the cottage! They ensured we always had a refreshing drink in hand and treated us like royalty, along with our parents and bridal party, as they guided us around the grounds. The food was abundant, the drinks were fantastic, and the waitstaff was exceptional. The cake was not only stunning but also delicious, and the cottage itself provided the perfect backdrop for our celebration. It was genuinely the best day of our lives, made even better by such an attentive team. I can't recommend this place enough! Plus, who doesn't love the charm of the village and the peacocks?
We went for Sunday brunch and it was wonderful! The atmosphere is classic and totally represents the vibe of the 1692 build date and beyond! The decor is very cool with some antique items and beautiful wood mill work throughout. The food selection for brunch was absolutely amazing! Everything you can imagine and MORE! The bread is delicious and the small loaf baked with cinnamon sugar was perfect. This is the bread they make the French toast with and it's delicious also! There was fresh fruit, every kind of cheese
Been years since dining there, but with Christmas decorations up and the village stores all stocked up with holiday goodies. They had a fun sleigh ride for kids behind a small tractor they loved it as well as a Santa visit. Food and drinks were first class and improved from many years ago. No complaints. Prices were as to be expected in the 2022 inflation era. But reasonable compared to the high quality of the food. Highly recommend.

It's been years since I've been here. We had tickets to a show and wanted to grab a quick lunch. The service was prompt and accommodating. It was a bit of a shock to see the price of a coke but that's a sign of the times. The cinnamon bread they serve is divine! Overall, great service, clean bathrooms and a nice atmosphere. Great place to go during the holidays, too.
This place is a national landmark that's been open since 1672, great food a great place to bring the family for lunch, dinner or just a walk around the town they have. Old fashioned candy stores, bakery and shops. If you live in the general area, I highly recommend you visit this place of such history. The best time to go is during the Christmas season. 5 stars
The Sunday brunch was fantastic; everything we tried was delicious. However, there was no hostess when we arrived, so we waited for about 10 minutes. Our server was friendly, but they didn't come by very often to check on our drinks. Despite that, I would definitely return for the food. The building itself is also really cool.
This was a lovely choice for a unique way to celebrate Thanksgiving. The ambiance was fantastic, and the charming decorations featuring dressed-up pilgrims added a delightful touch. Most of the food was enjoyable; while it didn't quite reach the level of a home-cooked Thanksgiving meal, it was satisfactory overall.
