Proper cosy pub with lots of dogs , real friendly atmosphere, real ale, good view outside, occasional live music, blazing log burner, telly for the footy, pool table /dart board and even a digital jukebox. absolutely the full package. easily my favourite pub in the country Atmosphere: 5

The pub is lovely, great beers and smashing views of the surrounding lands. Mixture of clientel, shame that there are young ones thar use foul language and disrespectful when there are woman around. But that doesn't reflect on the pub, certainly recommend Service: 5 Atmosphere: 3

When it comes to cider and perry, it has no rivals anywhere nearby. You'd struggle to find anywhere in a 50-mile radius that regularly has more than five ciders on.
