The Moderation - Reserva de mesa

When entering the Mod the first thing to notice is the warm reception and welcome. The pub is clean with well spaced tables and is pleasantly furnished. The menu is extensive offering Thai and other more regular meals such as risotto and fish and chips. There was also a shorter two-course lunchtime menu with a good selection. We were a party of four: one having fish and chips and three opting for Thai. The lentil and aubergine curry was delicious. I highly recommend this pub restaurant.

The atmosphere at The Moderation is relaxed and friendly. The staff are welcoming and attentive, and the other customers are always friendly and chatty. It is the perfect place to come for a casual meal with friends or family. Overall, The Moderation is a great place to eat and drink in Reading. The food is excellent, the drinks are great, and the atmosphere is relaxed and friendly. I would definitely recommend it to anyone looking for a good place to eat or drink in Reading

What wonderful food choices and really well cooked. As a family we had, Thai sharing platter to start, wow what a start! English and Thai main meals that were generous and tasted great. finishing off with a Moderation Mess that we had to share as well as we were full by that stage. Staff were really attentive and cheerful, and lots of family groups of all ages. We will definitely go back again. If you go, I don 't think you will be disappointed. '

Amazing food. I had the salt and pepper squid and beef rendang. You can request dishes to be spiced up or down. Service was slow and I had to flag the waiting staff to take our order, bring the bill and also to take payment. But they did so quickly when requested. Food is good. But sadly the service was very disappointing. We waited for our food for over an hour, and when we brought it to the attention of the staff they told us the kitchen was very busy and rudely offered us to cancel the order if we don’t want the food anymore. Unfortunately this ruined the experience for us.

Good seating including a quiet garden area at the back. I just had one dish. The battered fish was good, but the chips were not. The home-made coleslaw was okay, a bit too much mustard for my taste. It wasn’t cheap either. I would not choose to eat there again.

The food is absolutely fantastic. Such a great selection of choices and everything was delicious. They also have amazing drinks, so much choice and amazing cocktails. The staff are very friendly too. Will definitely come again!

Crazy busy for a Thursday evening in July but the service was great and the food tasty. Unfortunately our first choice wasn't available but the alternative was yummy. Good beer too. Reserva una mesa ahora

Friendly welcoming staff, spacious, wide variety of seating area both indoors and outside. The food was delicious with good portions. I would definitely come again!

Good service from cheerful staff who created a great atmosphere. Ale was also good and I look forward to my next visit. I didn't eat so can't comment on food.
