Had an amazing night there on Australia Day ! Made up for the no show fireworks so spent more time tasting the food and the beers. The “Common” was more to my liking being a Corona drinker. The food was amazing especially the pasta and the haloumi cheese . Great friendly staff very accommodating and knowledgeable. Diffinately a pub crawl stop or chill out place
After a mishap with our order not being sent to the kitchen and then the kitchen closing, The very generous staff was so apologetic and managed to turn the pizza oven back on make us all pizza and poured a round of drink all on the house. They were extremely accommodating and would highly recommend and will definitely be returning.
Thank you for an amazing Mother’s Day brunch. Our family of 9 plus puppy dog had the best time ever. The free flowing prosecco and delicious and generous 2 course meal with coffee was awesome. Will be back next year if the same deal or similar applies. Highly recommend. Great service too. Xoxo
As always another fabulous meal at The Monk last night. Despite being such a large group, nothing was too much trouble for the wait staff and the service and food were faultless. Visited as a group of about 12 people for a function in the late afternoon. Staff, food and beverages were all amazing and could not fault anything at all. The atmosphere was fantastic and would heavily recommend this restaurant to all. Thank you for your incredible hospitality!
We always come here when we stay in Freo. Great location. Good food. Good service and well priced. And we were even allowed to bring our little doggie as we sat outside. The waitress brought her out her own bowl of water. 10 out of 10.
Nice location, was attended right away as we approach the place, that beer school we attended that time was brilliant and informative , would love to come to Monk again with friends and family, can’t resist not to recommend
