We went to see Whiskey River play, they did a great set out in the garden. A nice pub, service was a bit slow and chaotic but the staff were very friendly. It's got a nice garden with plenty of seating, the access to it is via steep steps which might be a problem for aged folk, also not sure about wheelchair access. Plenty of parking so no problems there. There is an extensive menu but we just had (very generous) pork baps outside. Overall pretty good!
I have visited the Monkland Arms on several occasions since Ali and Jed took over and have always been impressed by the warm welcome and friendly staff. There is a very good selection of ales and ciders and the menu is extensive and very good value for money. Well worth a visit! (Very good Covid arrangements too)
We had our 30th wedding anniversary meal here whilst on holiday. The decor was well thought out and the ambience was very pleasant. The menu was simple but had a good selection. The meal was excellent, very tasty and the service was exceptional. We will definitely go again .
service was excellent. beautiful friendly ambiente. could no longer be painful to make sure that my grandaughter had eaten them. lamm was excellent. for me were the garlic mushrooms and the flower cheese! a lot of eating with generous portion size. Reserva una mesa ahora
Booked for a meal here with the family after driving past. Really welcoming and lovely homemade food. Came back the next day for another meal really enjoyed it again. If we're ever in the area again would not hesitate to visit again.
had roasted a family today and it was brilliant. meat potatoes and veg could not have been better. the rosen wine was delicious and the pudding and cheeseboard was not to be missed! we will definitely be back:
