The Monsoon - Reservar una mesa

we were the only people in there. The server was pleasant and friendly and I mentioned the 30% off to him. Unfortunately, they had a delivery and the room, which was not very warm when we arrived became very cold as the delivery people left the front door open and it took a long while to deliver the stuff. My companion was partly protected by a door behind him being left open shielding his back. I became very cold. The food was not up to the quality I expected from the reviews . The brinjal bhajee was basically fried onion and whole garlic with hardly any aubergine and and no depth of flavour. The monsoon special chicken was hot and tasted nothing special rather almost a pastiche of jalfrezi. The sag paneer was made with obviously sweetened coconut powder, with little sag or greens. I am pretty certain the 30% was not fully applied. We were given a 'complimentary ' drink at the end which we didnt really want and which I now feel I did actually pay for it.

Going for Curry in Ziegelgasse is a bit like a lucky one. Monsoon was really good. My husband and I went for a Veggie-Tali that was ideal for two and a prawn curry.

Great find with staff that was helpful in making suggestions for an interesting mix. Desserts are not their strong suit since some were not available.

Very good food and customer service....amazingly attentive....Sayeed was brilliant and pampered us when we told him it was a birthday meal..
