Everything I needed and more. Was visiting for a wedding and stopped by here before the ceremony for a quick drink, then left the wedding early because I NEEDED to get back to The Mood. (Also went back again the next morning) Servers were great, drinks were cheap, atmosphere is exactly what you want for a dive bar. Don't listen to the reviews about the regulars my friends and I had no problem fitting in here despite being from out of town. Spent the whole night chatting it up with the regulars, they took us in as one of their own. I had stopped with friends who frequent The Mood often. I live at the wisc Illinois border so was surprised to see a bar similar to where I live like The Mood so far south. Reminds me of an upper Wisconsin woods tavern. I felt quite comfy on my 1st visit. Food was great, and surprisingly tasty. Bar tenders were friendly and engaging which made it more comfortable than anticipated !! Service: Dine in
As original as they come. Fantastic prices on the food menu. The burger is one of the best I have had recently. They have updated the interior but it still reminds me of when I was coming to this joint several times a week back in the early 90's. A+.
I've never had the lunch but this is by far my favorite bar in the area. Staff GREAT! The crowd of people that come here are also just great. Cash only, but that's good because I can take my behind home when I'm low on cash.

This place is the shit if you want to relax and experience the mood. Be yourself and let the regulars introduce themselves. Cash only. But it's worth the weight in gold plus 33 or so.
Bartender was more worried about taking care of her regulars. Looked right at me. I even tried to get her attention. Nothing Don't go there
Burgers were great , the double cheeseburger was to much with fries , cold beer and a friendly place , bathroom was spotless

Great place to have a drink and talk to everyone at the bar. Bartenders are amazing.
