The fried dishes looked amazing! It was disappointing that most of the roast options were with pork. As someone who doesn't eat pork, I had to choose between the meat or veggie dishes. I opted for the plaice and it was a generous portion and delicious. The restaurant had a pleasant ambiance and the food was good overall. There was a mistake on our bill initially, but it was quickly corrected.

visit my daughter in london and book it this place. Now I have a nut allergy and the manager has to calm me down everything they want when it has nuts in it, we can take them out. our waitress was a charming young lady who would not be out of place in a five star restaurant. brilliant eating and drinks in a very excellent atmosphere. plus a great menu that is not to like.

I really enjoy this pub. The atmosphere is fantastic, with music playing and a lively buzz during my visit in the early evening. I have always had delicious meals here and there is a good variety of drinks available. This place is a great addition to Balham High Road and I highly recommend it as a local pub.

The roasts looks lovely! Was just a shame that the majority of roasts come with pork. As someone who doesn't eat pork it was either the beef of veggie roast. I went with the Plaice and it was huge! Absolutely loved the music! Service was top notch, food was good and cocktails were amazing. We had a few starters, burgers and a pudding. The bao was spicy with good crisp to the chicken, whipped garlic butter on sourdough was really good too with the bread stealing the show.

I had a great selection of beer to choose from, including my top 3 favorites. The prices were a bit high, but I guess that's just typical for London. The staff was friendly and the atmosphere was great, with good food. I would definitely visit again.

great place, great selection of drinks and cocktails and delicious food. I only visited, but wish I lived closer. staff very nice! space airy and spacious. I enjoyed my visit very much.

large selection of beer had my top 3 to choose. bit expensive, but guess that are london prices for you! personal friendly. good mood and good food would come back
