The Nag's Head Wood Green

The Nag's Head is conveniently located close to Wood Green tube station. My family and I were in the area to see a band at Alexandra Palace and decided to pop to the pub for a quick bite to eat before the show. We arrived just after 5pm, ordered some drinks and was advised that we could order food at 5.30 once the chef was back from their break. We went back to the bar at that time and ordered but was advised that they were out of fish and chips, so opted for 3 burgers and a plate of nachos instead. Came here with the Wife on a trip to London from Scotland. Couldn’t be happier, staff were excellent and looked after us right from the start. As soon as we got in the door we were looked after. Food was excellent, highly recommend the fish and chips! The truffle chips were unreal, the starters of meat balls were sizzling and again excellent, big portion sizes as well! As I’ve said before we were looked after by all the staff, food was excellent, setting is excellent decor is brilliant, even the toilets were top notch! Had a brilliant afternoon at the Nags head with some friends, we came in for some lunch and was greeted straight away with the super friendly and helpful staff. The facilities all round were fantastic extremely clean bathrooms and all round very clean pub. I had a burger meal for lunch and it was delicious would definitely recommend. Hot and great size portion. Fast service and always with a smile. They have a great selection of different alcohols. 2 for 1 cocktails which we all enjoyed. All round a great pub to go with friends or family. We will definitely be visiting more often.

Great spot for sport and food the food was amazing hot, looked like the pictures and the as delicious the staff are very good too the new manager was needed and the place has improved ten fold. Kelly the bartender was also very welcoming and helpful she does clean a lot but always happy to serve Me and my partner have been coming in on Monday mornings now as we used to drink here 30 years ago. Went to the nags head for dinner with family last week and I must say what a clean and lovely pub this was, from the start the bar staff were fabulous and super helpful with accommodating us all. The food come down quick and efficient and what perfect dishes they were from presentation to taste it was spot on! We were also in luck as they show all live sports throughout the venue. Thanks guys the hospitality was amazing and we will be back again.

Kelly was extremely helpful and kind. She had good customer service and she kept on checking on me saying how is it and how do I find it being my first time there. I really feel like Kelly deserves a raise of something because we was excellent at her job. I would really put in words for Kelly and recommend her to other pubs and restaurants because it was a really good experience

Great night! Team are super friendly and down to earth but consistently professional at all times. A superb selection of drinks available and delicious grub! Service was spot on, couldn't fault it. Highly recommend to anyone visiting woodgreen...in fact even if you're not, you should still check it out! Shout out to the nags head team, legends!
