The Nelson Pub - Reserva de mesa

We both called here on spec before our show at the Theatre Royal. We was pleasantly surprised the food was delicious. I had the steak pie, chips , peas and gravey. My friend had the Nelson burger, both meals was excellent and good quality, portions and filling 100% what we ordered. Lots of choice on the menu. The staff were excellent, polite and helpful. Nice fresh decor throughout, very modern. Would definitely recommend and call back again.

Absolutely wonderful!!! It has been a while since I visited my hometown and I have never experienced such fantastic service! Even before I made it to the bar, the bartender (Oliver) already knew my drink order! Unbelievable. And the woman before him (I apologize for not recalling her name) also deserves a lot of credit for the excellent service. I will definitely be leaving a generous tip! Well deserved.

I am a registered disabled individual with mobility issues due to arthritis and previous falls resulting in difficulty walking and limited use of my right hand. Despite explaining my condition and folding my walking stick to put it in my coat pocket, I was denied entry to the pub because of my inability to walk straight.

I will never dine at this restaurant again. I waited for an hour for food that was inedible, it seemed like it had been sitting out since it was first ordered. The staff member behind the bar was rude and should not be in a customer-facing role. They need to learn some manners. I will definitely not be returning. Reserva una mesa ahora

Went to the neksoncwith my husband for lunch the food was lovely my husband had the fish wich must have been the biggest chippy fish he's ever had it had not much batter on just as he likes it will definitely be going back for lunch again this week good value for money and pleasant staff x

We went in for a family meal and staff were really accommodating with my child. The food was delicious and came out in good time. We had a few drinks and watched the live sport they had on. Really good atmosphere and very clean! Will definitely be back again soon.

Since moving to St Helens a few years ago, the Nelson has been our favourite pub. Great beer prices, good for sports (TVs everywhere! , relaxed feel, nice garden area. Never had any problem in there would recommend to anyone in Saints :

Called after going to the cinema,as is our wont, and had a lovely meal in this town-centre pub. Lovely home-made food,excellent service and a very varied menu.Very good vim too. H8ghly recommended. Reserva una mesa ahora

Great food and great staff. Pity about customers vaping inside when people are eating. Hope the new outside area doesn’t become a smoking area

We lunch here regularly and always enjoy the visit. Service is very good as is the food. We have never been dissapointed.
