We had made a reservation at their restaurant for dinner, and the staff that evening were fantastic. The lady and gentleman were exceptionally friendly, polite, and attentive. Despite being busy, they provided personal service, ensuring everything was perfect and that we had everything we needed. The food and drinks were reasonably priced, and the portions were enormous—my starter could have served as a main dish! After our meal, we enjoyed some drinks in the cozy lounge area. It was a relaxed atmosphere where we felt comfortable and welcomed, with no sense of being rushed. We decided to try breakfast, even though I usually skip it due to high prices. Me and my partner stayed here for the night and we was very impressed. We was greeted amazingly well, and shown to our room which was equally as amazing. The location is great, not far from many things to do, and the pub is nicely decorated quite and well looked after. The food was brilliant, our only critique was the fact portions were huge and we struggled to get through them. But flavour and presentation was exceptional. The staff were attentive and nothing seemed to much for them. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay and will be booking again!
We stayed here at the weekend and thoroughly enjoyed it. The staff were so friendly and couldn't have been more helpful. Our room was spotless and looked exactly like it did on the website picture. Food was delicious! We had the soup, followed by scampi and the belly pork and then took a cheeseboard and another bottle of red to our room. Can highly recommend the Italian red! Would definitely come here again. Thank you guys for a warm and welcoming stay
We stayed here last week with our grandaughter and absolutely loved it !!!!! Room was beautiful and spotless, and the staff were amazing, nothing was too much trouble !!!! Breakfast was excellent and the location was great. I cant rate this place enough and will be recommending to everyone. I only spent one night here after winning a competition on Facebook. The room was nice, and we had a meal at the restaurant that we really enjoyed. Breakfast was also very good, with a selection of fresh fruit and a variety of breakfast options. The staff was very friendly, polite, and helpful. I would definitely recommend staying in Nelson. Thank you for a wonderful stay!
we were for a night on 29/04/18 this is not our first time and find this place a wonderful place to stay. from the moment we arrived when we were gone, we felt like a family. the employees were so friendly and fantastic in their job. eating in the restaurant was of such a high class and we will return. thanks to all in the nelson so pleasant for a birthday contract.
This is an excellent pub located in a charming small market town. It's in a fantastic location for exploring North Norfolk. The food is outstanding, the staff is lovely, and the ambiance of the room is beautiful. I had the best dessert I've ever tasted here. I highly recommend it!
