The New Clarence - Reservar una mesa

Ever since the venue changed ownership, the New Clarence has transformed into a fantastic community-style pub. The food is delicious and reasonably priced, with a wide selection of drinks to choose from, including a variety of tequilas that the knowledgeable landlord, Ian, can recommend. The atmosphere is friendly and welcoming, with lovely staff and hand sanitiser available on every table. I would highly recommend the New Clarence to anyone, and we even hold our monthly meetings there.

We visited this restaurant last week for a pre-theater meal and were not disappointed. We used to come here frequently, but the quality had declined. After seeing some positive reviews, we decided to give it another try and we were more than satisfied. The food was better than the usual pub fare and there was plenty of it. The service was good and they had a great selection of ales. We will definitely be back again next week.

Another bar recommended that we visit here as the beers were very good, sadly that wasn't the case! there was only one decent ale and that wasn't really very good. Lovely warm welcome though, and the food looked good, but we didn't stay to eat.

This small pub is fantastic! The food is delicious and the atmosphere is very pleasant. I always feel welcomed here, and the bartender is friendly and always ready to help. Thank you!

Visited for lunch with a work friend and we both really enjoyed it.2 very nice Ciabattas with chips and very friendly and helpful staff.We will be back soon.
